The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about powersports vehicles and have a knack for interacting with customers in a helpful manner. We provide an unparalleled experience for our guests and value a relationship-building, customer centric approach to sales.
We offer a fun, relaxed, supportive work environment. This position is a commission-based career, which means you can maximize your income based on the effort you put in and make an awesome living
Responsibilities
- Assist guests through the purchase process from selection to numbers to financing and delivery ensuring their time with us is easy and stress free
- Sell motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and personal watercraft by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features. Develop qualifying buyers and closing sales.
- Sell the passion and excitement of powersports to our customers.
- Make introductions to other departments to ensure cross selling of Parts and Accessories, Financing, Insurance Products and Services, Warranties, and Service Plans.
- Patiently and persistently follow up on all prospects and customers, using proactive sales techniques.
- Follow a well-structured sales process (that works)
- Enter data into our CRM on all client information and interactions.
- Stay up to date with our brand, product knowledge, company information, sales, and company-wide events, truly becoming a resource to our customer base.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ year experience in customer service (customer-facing roles).
- Minimum of 6+ months experience in sales with demonstrated closing skills.
- Possess knowledge of multiple brands and products in the powersports industry.
- Available to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays and overtime.
- Attention to detail and organized.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Teamwork- works well with others and helps even when not asked.
- Proficiency with the Office Suite of applications, smartphone, email, and social media apps.
- Riding experience and current motorcycle endorsement are desired, but not required.
- Punctuality is key.
