Door Hardware Specialist

Kamco Supply Corp. of Boston is New England's largest one stop source for commercial building products including acoustical ceiling systems, architectural doors & hardware, drywall & steel framing, insulation and exterior systems.

Kamco Supply is currently hiring for a Professional Door Hardware Specialist with experience installing and/or servicing numerous types of mechanical & electrified door hardware - based out of our Londonderry, NH Kamco Lock Solutions Division.

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform emergency work orders, for residential and commercial clients.
• Ability to install, repair and maintain Commercial and Residential hardware.
• Ability to install, repair and maintain Access Control Hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, diagram or schedule form.
• Ability to trouble-shoot with a variety of variables in situations.
• Ability to clean, maintain, adjust, calibrate & service equipment used.
• Ability to read operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers & commercial clients.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all Kamco and General Contractor policies, rules, and safety regulations.
• Proper and Safe use of a variety of power tools and hand tools
• Receive verbal instructions from Management or Clients/Customers.
• Execute projects as directed by Management.
• Complete and submit paperwork accurately and on time.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to push, pull and lift at least 50lbs.
• Ability to kneel, crouch and stoop.
• Ability to reach above and below the shoulders.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull.
• Ability to climb a ladder and work above ground.
