The Robert M. Greer Center in Enid is now hiring PCS professionals, HHA professionals or LTCA professionals for "Habilitation Specialist" positions with Liberty of Oklahoma.
This is a challenging and rewarding position which will require you to work directly with adults who have developmental disabilities, mental illness and behavioral challenges.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Ensuring clients are well cared for and safe at all times, by providing direct services and face-to-face care Continuously monitoring client activities, behaviors, health and safety Providing appropriate interventions as necessary, when clients are at risk Assisting clients with their activities of daily living – and helping them build related skills Helping clients to build pro-social skills, which will foster their independence and good healthAs a Habilitation Specialist and full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare you can expect:
$18.54 per hour (approximately $38,500 annually) An additional $1.00 per hour / shift differential for any hours worked between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am $1,000 sign-on bonus ($250 paid with first pay check + $750 paid after your initial 6 months of employment) 30 days of paid time off each year for holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal days Health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, disability insurance, and life insurance Health Savings Account, 401k plan, and other perks Advancement & promotion opportunitiesFull details on Liberty’s benefits plan are available at www.libertyhealthcare.com/upload/132.pdf
You can choose to work one of the following available shifts options:
6:15 am to 3:00 pm 2:15 pm to 11:00 pm 10:30 pm to 7:00 am
Skills & Requirements
This position is considered "safety sensitive" and will adhere to a zero tolerance policy of drug use, regardless of card holder status.
Applicants will be required to submit to a comprehensive background check process & health screening (which includes a 10-panel drug test).
Applicants should also possess the following:
Experience in the health & human services field (personally or professionally) Ability to commit to one of the three schedule options noted above Caring and compassionate attitude towards serving people who have disabilities Willingness and ability to commit to a variable work schedule – which will include weekdays as well as Saturdays or Sundays on a rotational basisWalk-in applications are always welcome – stop by the Greer Center weekdays between 9am and 4pm and ask for Casie Johnson.
