Type: Direct-HireJob SynopsisOur client is a family-owned manufacturer of truck liftgates incorporated in 1940. They are looking for someone that can be "hands on" quality control supervisor that can resolve quality issues and implement processes to further increase productivity within the organization. Ideal CandidateTheir ideal candidate would have a background in metal fabrication or within the industrial equipment manufacturing industry with solid metal fabrication skills/knowledge. This candidate would also have 2 years of supervisory experience within that field. Our client would like for the candidate to act as a gatekeeper for all product leaving the facility to ensure that it meets the standards of quality the client lives to. Job Requirements
  • Coordinate inspection activities across multiple departments to ensure smooth operation and timely product deliveries
  • Create inspection schedules, assign tasks and manage deadlines across the team. Provide constructive criticism and guidance as needed to meet performance metrics. 
  • Develop, implement and maintain quality control processes and systems. Use that knowledge to verify products meet the metrics set in accordance with client standards.
  • Document, Report and Analyze quality metrics to management teams in the facility in Cincinnati and in Monterrey to identify weak points. Perform a root cause analysis as needed to resolve issues. 
  • CQE Certification or Green/Black Belt is a plus
