Wieland is hiring a General Laborer . The General Laborer will be responsible for performing miscellaneous labor functions throughout the mill. This role is located in Montpelier, Ohio and will be fully on-site.
Starting Pay: $20.35 per hour plus $.25 shift differential
Schedule: 2nd shift (Monday- Friday 3pm - 11pm)
Pay Schedule: Paid weekly
Responsibilities
General Laborer Responsibilities:
Instructed by supervisor on each taskTasks may include those similar to:General housekeeping tasks – clean any area of MillChopping scrapHandle solid scrapOccasionally operates fork lift to transport oil and trash to designated locationsMoves scrap to and from various locationsMaintains equipment and performs duties in a clean and orderly conditionOther duties as assignedGeneral Laborer Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferredMinimum one-year manufacturing experience preferred Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Benefits - Starts on 31st day of employment. Medical and dental benefits provided through the USW (United Steelworkers) and Welfare Fund. Retirement: 401(k) plan offered through Principal. The allowable contribution is 0% to 80% of base pay. Wieland will contribute 50% of the first 5% of your eligible compensation contributed to the plan. Wieland will also contribute an additional 5% retirement contribution.
