DescriptionThe internship will focus on supporting the development of Franklin Electric’s public facing websites as part of the IT Digital Customer Experience (DCX) group. The selected candidate will work alongside existing team members to achieve assigned project goals outlined by supporting management team. The candidate will be able to gain exposure to business involvement on a global platform while building relationships and meeting project deadlines.
Key ResponsibilitiesService Operation
  • Responds to internal customers to resolve their technology problems.  
  • Enters and manages Incident and Service Request tickets in ServiceNow.
     (IT Service Management Application).
  • Assists with the setup and configuration of websites.
  • Assists with remediation of internal vulnerability audits.
  • Work with business team members to gather requirements for websites.
  • Potential to work on development tasks.

Operation Management
  • Aid in the administration of websites, digital asset management system (DAM), Product Information System (PIM), Project management System (Workfront)
  • Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

  • Communication – Delivers accurate, clear, and concise messages orally and/or in writing.
  • Problem Solving – Uses a logical, systematic search for the source of a problem, determining the most likely cause by eliminating potential causes of a problem.
  • Decision Making – Identifies and understands issues, problems, and opportunities; compares alternatives and makes timely decisions.
  • Business Process Knowledge – Understands the process steps and purpose of the important business processes used by internal customers.

Education and Experience
  • Enrolled in College (required).
  • Junior or Senior Standing (preferred). 
 
Computer Skills
  • Microsoft Operation Systems (Required), Microsoft Office (Required)
 
 Learning Outcomes
  • The student will learn what it takes to produce a website for a global company while getting work with business units throughout the company.
