As a Sales Manager you will be the key liaison between your sales force and the business to optimize corrugated sales. You will partner with the Director of Sales & General Manager(s) to align on local sales strategy. You will lead a team of Account Executives’ by connecting everyone to how they support the local strategy through monthly, quarterly, & annual goals, help remove barriers for internal & external customers, and provide creative solutions to help each manage & grow their sales portfolio.

How You Will Contribute:  

Develop & execute sales strategy to support business objectives.  Lead team of Account Executives including goal setting, skills development, and performance management.  Collaborate with plant leadership to develop and implement sales business objectives and plans.  Align sales strategy with business needs and collaborate with sales team to drive sales, grow market share, and increase customer satisfaction.  Interact and proactively communicate with all levels of leadership across the company and enforce communication between all departments in the plant to increase efficiency.  Prepare annual sales budget forecasts.  Prospect for new, profitable accounts and service existing accounts through regular contact. 

What it Takes:  

Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field. Experience as a Sales Rep or Account Executive generating sales for a manufacturing site.  Experience in a Management Role within a manufacturing company.  Experience in the Corrugated Industry.  Analytical ability and critical thinking skills to problem solve and make informed business decisions.  Driven mindset with strong negotiation and persuasion skills.  Demonstration of dynamic communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with all types of personalities.  Adaptability is key as you will need to navigate and demonstrate flexibility in an environment that can be ambiguous and uncertain.
