YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary:

TheDOT Driver is responsible for making timely deliveries to customers on the assignedroute in a safe and professional manner.

Job Description: 

Drivingdaily Hazmat, Tanker, LTL, or Bulk loads in the local area.  Loading and/or unloading of bulk, drummed, or bagged material.  Operate a forklift.  Follow all operating procedures, and work instructions. Reports all non-conformances as they occur using proper forms.  Performs all duties in a safe manner and follow all rules and regulations.  Completes all training as required in the Regulatory/Compliance TrainingProgram.  Properly use materials such as labels, placards, stenciling and paint.  Properly cares for and uses all equipment such as forklifts, drum handlingequipment, pumps, hoses, etc. Securedual sign off before transferring any product from one vessel to another.

YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience: 

HighSchool Diploma or GED required. A minimum of 3 years commercial Class A CDL driving experience in anindustrial/chemical environment.  Experience with box vans and tankers required.  Current Class A CDL wit Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements, clean motor vehiclerecord, ability to meet DOT requirements. Must be able to pass a DOT physical evaluation and obtain a DOT Medical Card.  Must be able to sit and drive for long periods of time. Must have the ability to repeatedly bend; lift, push, pull and or move up to100 pounds; proper lifting techniques required.  Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions in the Englishlanguage.  Comfortable with the use of a Forklift, and general warehouse duties.  Knowledge of DOT load securement regulations.  Employment is contingent upon completion of background investigation, E-Verifycheck, and pre-employment drug screening.
