:Jonas Collections and Recovery, Inc. has an opening for a Solution Consulting – Consultant II in Fairfax, VA.
DUTIES: Participate in the creation of estimates for the development and delivery of solutions. Responsible for the successful installation and integration of the state-of-the-art predictive software products from Jonas Collections designed for a variety of markets. Actively participate in implementation projects and perform detailed technical tasks for clients. Assist in technical training and support services for Jonas Collections software solutions, including remote and on-site client installations and configurations, documentation of the installation instructions, training clients on maintaining the systems, and updating internal documentation on client environments. Actively participate in the integration of Jonas Collections products by designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting interfacing software. Make recommendations about core product improvements that would speed delivery and improve overall implementation quality. Serve as technical resource for clients in program/project system architectures by working with Jonas Collections’ technical team to ensure there are no gaps or inconsistencies in the initial system architecture and that none emerge as the system is designed, built, or enhanced over time. Understand integration of various technical platforms, use industry scenarios to select the architecture, technology and/or products to align the priorities of IT with the business and provide the business solution across all domains. Ensure the technical integrity and quality of the custom-developed solutions. Analysis and design: Analyze and document customer requirements and produce high-level technical designs. Technology: Participate in the analysis of new and existing architectures, specify long term direction, and ensure engineering platforms meet reliability expectations. Technical Leadership: Responsible for individual assigned technical work products or subset thereof. Actively participate in cross-functional teams that analyze designs and implement architectures of projects. Presentation: Participate in the presentation of complex technical data to nontechnical personnel internally and with customers. Improvement Focus: Review the effectiveness of existing processes and suggest improvements. Collaborate with peers to ‘productize’ solutions, enabling a 'mass customization’ operational approach to future opportunities. Reuse solutions across multiple customers and proactively recommend technologies, delivery methods, and reuse scenarios that result in reusable products. Drive improvements in quality through automated testing, and overall test planning. Offer input to planning processes and otherwise focus on meeting established deadlines and quality standards. Evaluate current technologies and methodologies and actively seek improvements or new approaches to derive new or expanded value. *Remote working position/telecommuting benefits available from anywhere in the U.S.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 3 years of experience in job offered, or position as Implementation Specialist, Computer Systems Analyst, or related position in Computer Systems/IT field.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must hold 2 years of on-the-job experience with HTML. 2 years of on-the-job experience with CSS. 2 years of on-the-job experience with Microsoft Secret Server. 2 years of on-the-job experience with JavaScript. 2 years of on-the-job experience with jQuery. 2 years of on-the-job experience with MySQL. 2 years of on-the-job experience with Bootstrap. *Remote working benefits/telecommuting position.
