Job Requirements Current New York Registered Nurse (RN) license Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience Previous Case Management/Utilization Review experience preferred Proficient with healthcare management and clinical software systems Familiarity with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare team Strong organizational and time management skills Experience in discharge planning and patient education Ability to conduct and interpret patient assessments Knowledge of insurance coverage, claims, and reimbursements Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Ability to work independently with minimal supervision BLS certification or ability to obtain within a specified time frame Working conditions Hazards include risk of exposure to communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, and exposure to computer equipment. Physical requirements Sitting or Standing for long periods of time; walking, lifting, sitting and bending.
