Academic Integrity Director

Job Description
---Responsible for developing and implementing student academic integrity programs and overseeing all office functions. Works with staff, faculty, and students to assess current policy and practices, identifying and responding to incidents of academic misconduct.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides overall direction and leadership for the Office of Academic Integrity Ensures resolution of Academic Integrity cases in a timely, consistent, and fair manner. Addresses and resolves complaints involving academic integrity cases in a timely and fair manner. Engages with senior leaders and other key constituencies on student academic integrity matters. Develops and manages operational budget for the office. Will pursue ongoing professional development activities for staff. Conducts meetings with students reported for Academic Integrity Code violations. Independently teach required integrity awareness classes with responsibility for developing course content. Independently conduct presentations for students, staff and faculty about OU’s academic integrity system and processes. Advise the Academic Integrity Council, the student organization responsible for articulating and upholding community standards of academic integrity on the Norman campus. Responsible for general oversight of conduct hearings and appeals under the Academic Integrity Code Oversee the development and continual update of Academic integrity social media platforms. Lead in the development and implementation of policies and practices.

Required Education: Master's degree, AND:
5 years of experience in developing policies, interpreting laws and regulations, or similar related experienceSkills :
Background in the development and implementation of policies and procedures Ability to interpret policies, laws, procedures, and other regulations Familiarly with relevant compliance standards such as FERPA and Open Records Prior experience making presentations among varied audiences Strong oral and written communication skills Familiarly with the Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a teamAdvertised Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to travel as neededDepartmental Preferences:
Prior management experience preferred. J.D. or Ph.D. preferred Higher education experience preferred Investigative knowledge preferredSupervision: 4 total supervised; Admin Manager, Admin Support Specialist, 2 UGAAs
