Job Overview
Norman Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. This role will provide healthcare services to students in elementary and middle schools, ensuring their well-being and academic success.

About the Role
This full-time position involves administering medications, conducting health screenings, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with district staff, students, and parents to resolve health-related issues and concerns.

Responsibilities
• Administer medications according to Board of Education policy and Oklahoma State Law
• Conduct health screenings and make referrals as needed
• Maintain accurate records and logs related to student health, medication, and daily activities
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and district personnel
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Health Services

Requirements
- Current Nursing License from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
- Certification in AHA Healthcare Provider CPR/AED First Aid
- Graduation from an approved LPN program
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or school settings
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in office software programs
