Trexis Insurance located in Franklin, Tennessee (Nashville area) is one of the leading private passenger non-standard to mid-market auto carriers. We are A rated by A.M. Best and currently have a Product Manager opportunity available in our corporate office. This position will manage the company’s non-standard automobile products in multiple states.  This includes all ratemaking, Department of Insurance filing, and analysis required to meet production and profitability goals in each state.

 
Duties:
  • Manage assigned states and ongoing data review. 
  • Review and compile competitor analysis.
  • Manage Department of Insurance Filings.
  • Manage forms creation and implementation.
  • Review statutory requirements, regulations, etc. to ensure compliance.
  • Develop strategies designed to optimize sales and profitability with our network of agents.
  • Miscellaneous Projects and other assigned duties.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • BA or BS degree 
  • Three years of insurance experience, two years of which must be in a product management setting.
  • Additional actuarial, underwriting, marketing, or claims experience is very helpful, but not required.
  • SAS and SQL experience preferred, but not required.
  • Superior math skills.
  • Strong spreadsheet and/or database skills are required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, written and oral communication skills.
  • Possess the ability to deal courteously and effectively with various internal/external customers and deal with confidential information and meet strict deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and able to work well without supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
Work Location:  
In person in the Franklin, TN office.
