The ideal candidate will have superior attention to detail and the ability to directly handle a wide range of maintenance activities.What will you do?Exemplify the core values of Be Kind, Be Flexible, Own it and Always ImproveDirectly handle a wide range of maintenance repairs including plumbing, appliances, electrical, roofing inspection/minor roof damage; recommend outsourcing tasks to external vendors as necessaryPerform skilled maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structuresHandle residence turnover including direct participation in turning units, obtaining bids from subcontractors, and small renovation projectsMaintain good rapport with current and prospective residentsFollow company policies with regard to gaining necessary approvals for any large maintenance tasks/expendituresComplete maintenance requests in a timely manner and document time, expense and resultsRegularly assess the property for safety and preventative maintenance opportunitiesMaintain and secure a spare parts inventory including basic maintenance hand and power tools, recommend purchasing of maintenance equipment and supplies as required to improve processes and efficienciesServe as one of the emergency contacts for the communities / Availability to be on-call and assist in after-hours emergency situationComply with all OSHA regulations and any applicable laws regarding health, safety or the environmentPivot, roll up your sleeves, and jump in where neededWhy should you work here?Competitive Pay + Recruiting Incentive (paid quarterly).
