Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the training of new drivers or drivers needing additional training, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and safety protocols to perform their duties effectively.
• Serve as a role model for other drivers, exemplifying professionalism, adherence to company policies, and dedication to excellence in service delivery.
• Act as a safety advocate, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance among all drivers, and actively identifying and addressing any safety concerns or hazards.
• Provide guidance and support to drivers on route planning, navigation, and efficient delivery practices, optimizing productivity while maintaining a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for drivers, providing constructive feedback and coaching to help them improve their skills and meet performance goals.
• Coordinate with dispatch and other team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery schedules are maintained, and any issues or concerns are promptly addressed.
• Serve as a point of contact for drivers, addressing any questions, concerns, or issues they may have, and aiding and support as needed.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and take appropriate corrective action when necessary to ensure adherence.
• Assist in the resolution of customer service issues or complaints related to driver performance or delivery operations, working collaboratively with the customer service team to achieve timely and satisfactory resolutions.
• Fill-in as needed for spotter and other driver duties.
