Responsibilities:

* Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by exhibiting safe behaviors
* Transport a variety of freight (including paper products, corrugated material, and household goods) within a 250-mile radius of Sturtevant-Racine, WI
* Inspect equipment for mechanical issues and safety concerns and report any defects
* Maneuver tractors and trailers into loading or unloading positions
* Transport equipment to local service center(s) to perform preventative maintenance
* Document and log work/rest periods and notate mileage
* Retain all paperwork, including BOL's, POD's, and fuel/toll receipts
* Comply with all DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations (e.g. size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) along with all company policies and procedures
* Immediately report any accidents or violations to appropriate company personnel

Requirements:

* At least 23 years of age
* Valid Class A CDL
* Valid DOT medical certificate
* At least 1 year of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience
* Proven record of safety and reliability
* No more than 3 moving violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
* Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
* Willing to submit to background/drug screenings
* The ability to work weekends from time to time based on business needs.
