All Aboard, a leading residential electrical and plumbing service company with a rich history in electrical services since 1978, is expanding its operations to include plumbing services. ?We are currently seeking a reliable and organized individual to fill the role of Dispatcher. As a Dispatcher at All Aboard, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and scheduling with customers and our technicians.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of electrical and plumbing service teams to residential locations for installations, repairs, and maintenance.
2. Communicate effectively with service technicians, customers, and team members to ensure timely and accurate arrival at job sites.
3. Utilize dispatch software and GPS tracking systems to monitor and track the progress of service teams, and address any route or schedule deviations promptly.
4. Address and resolve any logistical issues or delays in service delivery by making quick and effective decisions to minimize disruption to the schedule.
5. Maintain accurate records of dispatch orders, service team locations, estimated arrival times, and any incidents that may occur during service calls.
6. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, rescheduling appointments as necessary, and maintaining open communication channels with clients.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or dispatching is a plus.
2. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the electrical, plumbing, or related service industry.
3. Proficient in using dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and other relevant technology.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, sound decisions.
5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
6. Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and geographical familiarity with the service area.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
