We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Great working hours Monday- Friday 8am-5pm or 8:30am-5:30pm Weekends Off

As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing quality pharmaceutical care to patients. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the safe and efficient dispensing of medications.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and package medications for dispensing

- Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently

- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies

- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries

- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures

- Follow proper aseptic technique when handling sterile products

Skills:

-Bilingual

- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of pharmaceutical abbreviations

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation

- Knowledge of critical care and acute care pharmacy operations

- Familiarity with medication administration routes and dosage forms

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy setting

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

Requirements:

Registered through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)

- Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT)

- Licensed through the Texas State Board of Pharmacy

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not required

Certified Medical Assistant/ Non -Certified Medical Assistant. Experience Only

Fulltime/ Central- Westside locations/ Bilingual- Mon.- Fri.. 8am-5pm $14.00-$15.00 an hour.

Duties: Bilingual

- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering medication, and assisting with minor surgical procedures

- Conduct X-rays and other diagnostic tests as directed by healthcare providers

- Provide patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment

- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and processing insurance claims

- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to effectively communicate with healthcare providers and patients

- Follow proper protocols for infection control and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

- Possess a strong understanding of medical procedures and terminology

- Proficient in basic life support techniques

- Excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare providers and patients

- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately record patient information

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes
