Pediatric Pharmacy Tech Reg., PRN Rotating

Assists pharmacist in the distribution of medication for Inpatient and Outpatient use. Responsibilities include inventory control, narcotic record keeping, TPN calculations and chemotherapeutic medication preparation.
Required Skills
- Basic computer literacy and keyboarding/data entry skills required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to use computer applications.
- Advanced Pharmacy Technician knowledge of pharmacy terminology and procedures.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of one year previous work experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Current registration for Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- I.V. Certification completed within 3 months of hire.
- Annual I.V. Certification
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduation from a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
