Adecco Creative and Marketing has partnered with women's fashion house to hire a Senior Manager Company Planner.

This is a 6 month, hybrid, 40 hour work week contract in Times Square. The pay is $65-$70/hr.

About the Position:

The role of Company Planning is to generate and promote strategic planning ideas to help drive margin, mitigate liabilities and manage inventory effectively. The Company Planning team acts as the hub of Planning and the liaison between Merch Planning and Finance.

The Senior Manager, Company Planning is responsible for supporting the planning and forecasting processes for the Brands by acting as a hub of information between Finance and brand CFTs (MP, LP&A, Stores, Merchandising, Ecomm, and Marketing) to create brand plans. This role will focus primarily on sales & margin forecasting, annual budget development, business reporting, and evaluating current business trends and new business opportunities. This position will provide exposure across the organization and will play a critical role in generating and promoting strategic planning ideas that help drive margin, mitigate liabilities and manage inventory effectively to ensure the Brands continue to deliver against financial plans.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain business relationships with Finance, Marketing, Store Ops, Direct, Merch Planning and Location Planning to build and maintain pre-season plans and in-season forecasts at Brand and Channel level
  • Own the pre-season and in-season company plan at the channel level for both stores and Ecomm
  • Share plans with business partners and serve as a guide for reconciling bottoms up and tops down plans and marketing budgets
  • Provide weekly business updates, including risks and opportunities at the brand and channel level
  • Create and maintain promotional calendar for Channel
  • Maintain and reforecast midweek, weekly and dailies (when required)
  • Create topline strategies to help drive sales and margin
  • Provide clear, accurate direction on sales, margin, *inventory, *turn, promotional calendar and fiscal calendar shifts.
  • Review Bottoms up vs Tops down plan and communicate key variances
  • Participate in weekly Brand meetings to provide business updates for Brands and channel, including financial results, promotional strategy results/shifts, calendar shifts, and identify risk/opportunity to ensure we are meeting goals for all key metrics
  • Mentor and develop direct report(s) and junior team members

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Planning preferably company or central planning
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent; advanced degree a plus
  • Ability to provide strategic guidance and build business cases for a multidimensional business and take analysis into action, execute to timelines and provide timely solutions
  • Ability to influence key decisions makers and build strong and engaged relationships
  • Strong analytical skills and clear understanding of financial measurements
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong decision-making and leadership capabilities; strong point of view and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and Business Intelligence tools (i.e. APT)
