Come join an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition.Job Summary include but not limited to:Prepares and processes specimens for gross and microscopic examination and diagnosis by a pathologistAssists in the preparation of frozen sections of surgical specimens for microscopic examination by a pathologistPerforms histology and cytology procedures including specimen processing/fixation, cell block preparation, embedding, microtomy, slide preparation, routine and special stains, case organization in accordance with department proceduresRequirementsEDUCATION:•High School Diploma or GED required•Associate's Degree in Histology, Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biology or Chemistry preferredEXPERIENCE:•1 year experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
