Feed Freight Accountant

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following:

Finances

  • Process finished feed payroll.
  • Process feed freight raw material payables.
  • Process feed transportation expense payables.
  • Perform monthly reporting.
  • Collect and analyze feed freight financial data.
  • Create reports for cost analysis and other financial components.
Other
  • Maintain a strong focus on process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and/or effectiveness.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Must have strong knowledge of profit/loss management.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with others and problem-solve.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Must have strong time management skills to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • High levels of dedication to work through a project or task from start to finish.
  • Must be inquisitive when determining numbers and where they are coming from.
  • Ability to think both long and short-term while maintaining an objective mindset.
