Job DescriptionPosition Overview:Cannabis Chem Lab is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sample Collection Agent to joinour team. As a Sample Collection Agent, you will play a crucial role in the success of ourcannabis testing process by visiting various grow and manufacturing facilities to collect samplesfor analysis. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and commitment to accurate samplecollection will contribute directly to the quality of our testing outcomes.Responsibilities:- Visit assigned cannabis grow and manufacturing facilities to collect representative samplesaccording to established protocols.- Interact professionally and courteously with facility staff, ensuring positive relationships whileconducting sample collection.- Follow strict guidelines for sample collection to maintain the integrity and accuracy of thesamples.- Label, document, and package collected samples accurately, ensuring proper identification andtraceability.- Maintain meticulous records of sample collection activities, including dates, times, locations,and any relevant observations.- Collaborate with the laboratory team to coordinate sample pickup schedules, ensuring, timelyand efficient collection.- Address any questions or concerns from facility staff regarding the sample collection process,demonstrating expert knowledge and professionalism.- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and protocols related to sample collection,safety, and transportation.- Participate in a comprehensive 10-hour in-house training program provided by CannabisChem Lab to ensure a thorough understanding of sample collection techniques, safety protocols,and industry standards.- Apply the knowledge gained during training to consistently deliver accurate and reliablesample collection services.- Contribute to a positive and cooperative team environment, sharing insights and suggestingprocess improvements to enhance sample collection efficiency and accuracy.RequirementsThis candidate must live West of the Missouri River in South Dakota and have a reliable vehicle- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in biology, chemistry, or related fieldsis a plus.- Prior experience in sample collection, especially in a cannabis or laboratory setting, ispreferred but not mandatory.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport andmaintain professional relationships with facility personnel.- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to accurately document and labelsamples.- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations associated with handling andtransporting samples.- Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing schedules and priorities effectively.- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.- Flexibility to travel to various facilities and adapt to changing collection schedules as needed.- A genuine interest in the cannabis industry and a commitment to contributing to its qualityassurance and safety.BenefitsPay $20/hour plus $0.65 per mile- Competitive compensation package- Comprehensive 10-hour in-house training program provided by Cannabis ChemLab- Training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills- Contribution to a vital aspect of the cannabis testing process- Collaborative and supportive team environment- Opportunities for career growth within the organizationIf you are passionate about maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in sample collectionand are excited to contribute to the cannabis industry, we encourage you to apply for theSample Collection Agent position at Cannabis ChemLab.
