We're looking for a positive and professional hotel front desk agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel. You'll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. Responsibilities

•Manage online and phone reservations
•Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
•Register guests by collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
•Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
•Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
•Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
•Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
•Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information
•Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests' needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs
•Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready
•Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct
•Field customer complaints when necessary

Qualifications

•Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role
•Experience with hotel reservation software, like Cloudbeds and RoomKeyPMS
•Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor
•Customer service attitude
•Excellent communication and organizational skills
•A degree in hotel management is a plus
•Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent
•1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred
•Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
•Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations
