*Please DO NOT call the program phone line to inquire about job postings.* *HYBRID REMOTE JOB LOCATED IN GREENWICH, CT* Program Description: Backcountry Wellness (BCW) is an eating disorder treatment program founded with the mission of bridging comprehensive recovery with the demands of real life. Our treatment philosophy embraces compassion and understanding, safety and nurturing, and a focus on family involvement to equip our patients with the tools to make lasting changes within their lives. Backcountry Wellness provides immersive programming for children and adolescents who live with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake, Orthorexia, and Other Specific Feeding and Eating Disorders (OSFED). Job Summary: The Outreach and Business Development Specialist (OBDS) is responsible for expanding the platform's public reach, building relationships with partners and referral sources including institutions, non-profits, hospitals, medical and mental health providers, schools, and others. The OBDS will be a representation of the program's values and culture, sharing our mission and philosophy of care with the broader community. The role will require consistency and organization, and requires direct work with the CEO and Program Directors in order to expand the platform's network and share our eating disorder treatment services with a broader audience of patients and providers. Essential Job Functions: Facilitate outreach to institutional, non-profit, medical and clinical providers, hospitals, and schools, among others Think strategically about partnerships and collaborative opportunities with external providers Educate inquiring parties and broader audiences about BCWs programs and services Manage in person and virtual events from ideation through delivery Build and maintain relationships with key referral sources, including therapists, physicians, psychiatrists, schools, community organizations, advocacy groups and other relevant healthcare professionals and stakeholders Execute marketing and strategic communications initiatives at a local and regional level Give facility tours to generate connectivity among the local provider universe Attend conferences and events and facilitate attendance for the broader BCW team Pursue public presentations, podcasts or events featuring program staff including Clinical Directors and Program Directors Represent the program in a professional, positive and engaging manner Demonstrate teamwork in collaboration with the Director of Admissions and Compliance, Program Directors and CEO Provide support to internal administrative teams as needed Perform other duties as assigned by management Experience: Minimum of two years in business development role, preferably in the mental/behavioral health space Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Community Relations, or Healthcare Administration
