Job DescriptionReviews clinical documentation and diagnostic results to extract data and assigns ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes for inpatient and/or outpatient ancillary encounters to ensure the proper and most accurate APC assignment. Responsibilities may include rectifying pre-bill coding related edits and coding related denials. Provides coverage in operational areas on both an as needed basis and in an effort to remain current on operational workflow and functions. This will be a remote position after completion of training.Flexible schedule available with start times between 5:00am to 9:00am.
