Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Dental Specialists Recruiter to join our team and promote the Specialized Dental Partner story, mission, vision, and values. This individual will play a critical role in recruiting and onboarding new associate doctors, building a robust pipeline of associate candidates for specialty dental practices. This position will collaborate with various partner doctors and team leaders to guide them through the hiring process and ensure the successful transition of associate candidates during the recruiting process and new hire onboarding. This position will report to the Vice President of Corporate Development.

Lead Generation and Candidate Sourcing:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with dental schools, dental associations and new clinicians to source top-tier dental talent.
  • Attend and represent Specialized Dental Partners at dental tradeshows and industry events to identify potential candidates.
  • Develop/Maintain an active candidate pipeline using sourcing databases, social media, and other resources.
  • Collaborate with pre-doc and post-grad dental programs to identify and engage with future dental professionals.
  • Point of contact and coordinator for all on-site/virtual Lunch and Learn presentations and conventions.

Candidate Screening and Evaluation:

  • Collaborate with doctor partners and business leaders to understand hiring needs and define requirements.
  • Develop/Maintain recruiting sources and all external job posts including SDP Career page.
  • Manage a full-cycle recruitment process for new and future candidates to ensure a stellar introduction to SDP.
    • Screen, interview, and assess potential candidates to determine their compatibility with our practices.
    • Organize and facilitate interview debriefs, helping to guide and drive decision making among a range of partners and executive management.
    • Create Letters of Intent and process all required pre-employment screenings including, but not limited to, license verifications and various exclusion lists reviews.
    • Maintain accurate trackers including requisition data, time to fill and pipeline dashboards.
    • Supports the operations team in gathering information for the documentation collection for the credentialing process. Will also act as backup as needed.
    • Organize the onboarding event to ensure efficiency throughout the process and safeguard strict confidentiality.
    • Assist candidates through the hiring and onboarding process including the negotiation process.
    • Maintain a database of pre-qualified candidates for quick access and placement.

Client and Candidate Engagement:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with dental practices seeking associates.
  • Assist with the coaching/training of interview techniques for partner doctors and/or executive staff
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates, offering guidance and support throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and dental practices.

Market Research and Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in dental education, and emerging specialties.
  • Conduct market research to understand the demand for various dental specialties.

Assist the VP of Corporate Development, as needed, for special projects and reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Business, or Healthcare Administration).
  • 5+ years previous experience in dental recruitment or a related field is a significant advantage.
  • Strong understanding of the dental industry, dental specialties, and educational programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Proficient in using recruitment software and databases.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel.
