Our staff are cross trained to work all the units within our inpatient behavioral health department. The psychiatric inpatient 27-bed, Closed unit is an involuntary unit. Patients are committed to be inpatient for treatment and can have varying medical complexities. Our staff are cross trained to work all the units within our inpatient behavioral health department. The psychiatric inpatient 21-bed, Open unit is a voluntary unit. Patients are able to sign themselves in for treatment and can have varying medical complexities.
