Job Description

The role of the Care Management Coordinator is to ensure that authorizations are obtained on a specific population and all-time frames are met. The Care Management Coordinator will assist the Care Management team through insurance authorizations follow up, data entry, and facilitating the work of the Care Management Department. The Care Management Coordinator will support financial growth of Tanner's swing bed programs.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Experience:

One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.

Qualifications

*A minimum of two (1) year related experience in the healthcare environment preferred, with experience related to the financial arena a plus.

*Demonstrate initiative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

*Demonstrates ability to organize, prioritize and make appropriate decisions following organizational and departmental policies and procedures with minimal supervision.

*Communicates in a concise and organized manner to facilitate information exchange from multiple parties.
