Gastroenterologist: Bridgton and RumfordCentral Maine Medical Center is actively recruiting for a full time Gastroenterologist for our Bridgton and Rumford locations. This position will be split between both Bridgton and Rumford hospitals. Our health system, which consists of a 250-bed facility in Lewiston and Critical Access Hospitals in both Bridgton and Rumford, employs 400+ providers throughout a wide range of medical and surgical services, with 50% being primary care providers. We place great emphasis on quality and safety, leading to CMMC being recognized with an "A" Leapfrog rating in 2018. Additionally, both Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital were recognized as 2018 Top Rural Hospitals by The Leapfrog Group.This position will require very limited call coverageAbout Our Community:Maine is a land full of beauty offering beautiful beaches, a rocky coastline, lakes and mountains all within driving distance. Ski enthusiasts, in particular, will love this area for its ski slopes –these unique ski slopes, created by the townspeople in the 1930’s, spell the word “LOVE”.Rumford Region:A beautiful, rural area, the town is located in west-central Maine’s Oxford County and is surrounded by forests, mountains, rivers, and lakes. This area boasts many recreational opportunities for boating, swimming and fishing; and it’s also home to the largest waterfall east of Niagara. The business district of the town is located on “The Island” located between the Androscoggin River and the canals.
