The business district of the town is located on “The Island” located between the Androscoggin River and the canals, featuring restaurants and retail storesThe Opportunity: Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Radiological Technologist to join our highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Team at Rumford HospitalThe Radiological Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.Rad techs are trained to perform and become certified in both X Ray and CTFunctions as one of the first line interfaces with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.Education and Experience:+ Required -Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required- and/or Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a current ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Computed Tomography+ Current or within 1 month of hire American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS certification. Re-certification of existing employees is due within 1 month of expiration date.+ Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.+ Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy when performing CT.+ Proficiency with X-Ray and when performing CT will have knowledge or will be trained of CT equipment, hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Phillips, and Toshiba preferred.What It’s Like Working At CMH: We are all about our team members growth and health.
