Since our founding by 10 physicians in 1949, we have grown and evolved to meet the needs of Boulder County and beyond.We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.Summary:Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is currently seeking a candidate to join our Ophthalmology team. This position is benefit eligible working 26 hours per week. We take a team approach to helping patients receive thorough, efficient and educational visits to the ophthalmology department. You will be working as an assistant to Dr. Kreidl and on-the-job training will be provided. Both of our physicians are board-certified ophthalmologists who have been also been certified in diversity, equity and inclusion. Job Perks: Full-time employees are eligible for medical / dental / vision, flexible spending, company-paid life insurance and Short Term Disability (STD) as well as several voluntary benefit options, RTD EcoPass, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) and six (6) paid holidays annually.Day shift work schedules.Experience working within a multi-specialty group practice with both primary and specialty care clinics.Job Duties:Supports the provider in a variety of patient care duties and performs related clerical duties in accordance with the area assignedRooms patients and records all medical information in the patient's EMRPrepares exam rooms for provider's use, documents all prescribed, OTC medication and drug samples per protocolsMaintains equipment and medical suppliesPerforms administrative/clerical duties such as filing, phone calls, and faxingExperience and SkillsSkills: Strong, competent computer skills; good time management and organizational skills.Abilities: Relate well and communicate with patients, providers, and staff. Able to demonstrate self-direction in establishing priorities and working with little supervision. Able to maintain high level of precision in judgment, accuracy of assessment, and skill in problem solving under stress based on skill level, licensure and scope of practice.Education Requirements (one of the following options):High school diploma or higher. Please provide copy of transcripts.Experience: No experience required.The starting hourly pay range for this position is commensurate with experience:$18.36 - $23.50/hour (full pay range is $18.36 - $27.54)This position will be posted for a minimum of three days, subsequently until filled.Location(s):Boulder, CO
