Evening Shift Inpatient Pharmacy Technician II

About the job:
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and delivery
- Triage phone calls and assist customers at the pharmacy window
- Maintain adequate inventory of stock and supplies
- Perform all advanced operations of pharmacy automated systems
- Receive medication orders and deliver floor stock to patient care areas in the hospital
- Train and mentor new technicians, students, residents and pharmacists
Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacy Tech-NC and Cert Pharmacy Tech-National
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience as a pharmacy technician at NHRMC OR two years of healthcare experience prior to hire OR graduate of an ASHP accredited pharmacy technology program with one year of healthcare experience
