Laboratory in Torrance, CA has an immediate opening for full-time CLS

Clinical Lab Scientist

will perform duties delegated under the authority of CLIA 88 CFR Section 493. Seeking Generalist with Molecular testing experience.

Participates in the development of and implementation of new analytical procedures / techniques and uses established methodology to perform and analyze a variety of standardized clinical laboratory tests.

Responds to inquiries regarding test results, factors affecting tests, normal, abnormal toxic and therapeutic range and specificity and sensitivity of assays.

S/he also assists in the guidance and direction of technicians, assistants, and support personnel.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field of science

Minimum Experience:

One (1) year as CLS in an approved clinical laboratory. Must practice a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality and performing duties.

Excellent Communication & People Skills

Reliable with Excellent Organization Skills, with proven ability to self-manage, problem solve, and complete tasks to schedule

Team Player, cooperate with staff across functions and contribute to the organization’s goals and focus on excellence

Licensure Requirement:

Active CA Clinical Laboratory Scientist License
