Sr. Solutions Architect HighPoint’s professionals focus on helping government agencies and companies implement their most critically strategic initiatives. The role of Sr. Solutions Architect contributes to HighPoint by leading the overall system design and architecture function. This position will work closely with IT and business leadership to structure and deliver technology solutions in an integrated and cohesive manner. The Solution Architect will establish enterprise technology strategy and associated technical capabilities to drive business value and operational efficiency; develop and maintain the technology roadmaps in conjunction with business strategy and roadmaps; and establish, manage, and enforce technology standards that drive internal and external delivery and support. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Technical knowledge and responsibility of all phases of application architecture and development Understands analysis, design, build, implementation and delivery of end to end solutions Analyze business objectives, requirements, risks, and design best-fit solutions within the project constraints. Evaluate and assess alternative technology solutions to make the required trade-off decisions between functionality, technical design, standardization, risk management, and costs and benefits. Design and lead the development and execution of comprehensive IT strategies and roadmaps and the development and execution of architectural requirements and technology standards. Gain a thorough understanding of the customer’s objectives, culture, organizational structure, skills, experience, and processes to define and implement configuration or change management for HighPoint’s clients. Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction through careful planning, creative problem-solving, solid expectations management, and effective relationship development. Contribute to company growth through the creation and sharing of knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices based on project experiences. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: IT management on major tasks or technology assignments, and all of the following: Experience establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives. Experience with domain knowledge and expertise in decision-making and client negotiations interfacing with senior management. Experience with IT application systems and platform customization in relevant delivery platforms. Experience with open system architecture, reference models, application platforms, API workflow and information data. Experience with Agile methodologies and Agile project management. Provides technical support and troubleshoots issues. Experience with variety of programming languages and databases. EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree and 6+ years IT management experience -- OR -- Formal IT Application/Software and/or Machine Learning Development Certification Equivalent and 8+ years IT management experience.
