Director of Sales-TPD

opening in our

Dover, NJ office.

This role coordinates, directs, and promotes the national sales and marketing efforts of the division. This position reports to our Timepiece Division. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: · Manages, controls, and directs the activities of designated Field Sales Mangers to maximize the sales and marketing efforts of the division. · Assists with the development, communication, and implementation of sales plans, programs and strategies. · Analyzes market data to determine competitiveness of product, pricing, technical features, etc. · Assists with the preparation and development of consolidated sales reports based on projections,

current/historical/forecasted

sales volume, marketing trends and campaigns, etc. · Trains, develops, and provides specialized knowledge to Field Sales Managers to maximize sales, profits, and service, updates Field Sales Managers on current programs, products, availability, etc. · Manages samples and product loan accounts, recording and documenting the status of all products. · Achieves the

annual/quarterly/monthly

sales volume and profit quota assigned. Occasionally other quotas may be assigned that must also be achieved (i.e., major accounts, specific models, etc.). · Controls and directs the allocation of all products, special pricing, co-op advertising, etc. · Performs other duties and functions as assigned by Senior Management. MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and ten or more years related experience; or advanced degree and eight or more years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
