Role: Lead Data Migration Lead REMOTE LOCALS ONLYLocation: Albany, New YorkDuration: 6 months 1 day(s) Provide a Data Migration Lead that can be onsite at the following dates/times:Customer working session/meet & greet on Monday, May 13th at 9:30am92-31 Union Hall Street 6th floor, Jamaica, New York Or else June 24th at 9:30am92-31 Union Hall Street 6th floor, Jamaica, New York Job Overview:This resource will be responsible for the following daily activities:Taking ownership of assigned tickets from priority queues (e.g ServiceNow)Collecting data from customers into Excel spreadsheets that relate to Trading Partners and their file transfersCommunicating with customers via phone, email, face-to-faceSetting up, testing, and migrating Trading Partners across environments (e.g. Development, QA, Production)Troubleshooting issues (e.g. connectivity, file transfer failures) OrganizationProvide daily status updates (e.g. tasks completed, risks, issues) Key Skills:Associate/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (CS), Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology (IT), Computer Engineering (CE), or a related disciplineAbility to take a complex problem, digest it, propose a logical solution, and resolve itSelf-motivated with the ability to work effectively under pressureStrong ability to work effectively and collaboratively with project teams varying in sizeStrong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detailsMS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Core Technical Skills:Ability to approach a complex problem, assess solutioning alternatives, and move forward with the solution that makes the most sense, while being able to justify the solution rationaleExposure and experience with a programming language(s)Experience with database(s) and understanding of database conceptsExperience with computer/server networking conceptsExperience with communication protocols (e.g., SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS) and concepts (e.g., SSH Key, SSL Certificates) is a plus Bonus Skills:Experience with Manage File Transfer applications (e.g. Axway, IBM Sterling File Gateway, MoveIT, CLEO)Exposure or experience with utility applications (e.g., TextPad, Notepad++, PuTTY, SSH, File Transfer Clients) is a plusExperience with organizational concepts (e.g., B2B, EDI, MFT, EAI) is a plusExperience with directory services and LDAP (e.g., Microsoft Active Directory) is a plusRequiredPreferredJob Industries
