The Role

The Hosts primary responsibility is to create an uncompromising dining experience throughout the guests visit. Our hosts demonstrate genuine hospitality, work neatly and cleanly, and have the ability to multi-task and work in a team environment. The host is responsible for ensuring a friendly welcome and departure greeting and the seating of all guests. The host also answers phones in a polite and prompt manner with appropriate scripting and records all reservations into the reservation system. The host plays an integral part of the flow and pace of our dining service.

The Requirements

As a Host, we would love you to have:

At least 1-2 years of experience in as a host or in customer service in a related field, preferably in hotels or restaurants

Convey information and ideas with clarity and genuine warmth and hospitality

Able to perform in a team serving environment

Must have a working knowledge of OpenTable or other reservation service program

High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred

Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays-REQUIRED

Ability to stand during entire shift

Ability to lift 30 lbs

The Restaurant

Opened in December 2018, Loch Bar is located in the center of Boca Ratons bustling Mizner Park. With an impressive raw bar with over a dozen east and west coast oysters, Loch Bar draws inspiration from old-time seafood houses, bringing an air of casual luxury to the enjoyment of fresh and flavorful seafood. In addition to offering a wide selection of local craft beers and handcrafted cocktails, the beverage program centers around one of Floridas largest whiskey lists.
