Vulcraft Indiana, a division of Nucor, is a well known leader in the design and manufacture of custom-engineered steel joists and decking.

We are a team that provides our customers with high quality products, tools and technological solutions that drive profitability. Basic Job Functions:

The District Sales Manager (DSM) is primarily responsible for Taking Care of our Customers by building & sustaining strong, engaged relationships.

The DSM will supervise and lead a multiple teammate sales office.

DSM will participate in developing and executing the Divisional commercial strategy.

This role calls for a high level of collaboration with sales and non-sales teammates within the entire Vulcraft/Verco group in order to drive enterprise-wide results.

The DSM must be willing and able to travel. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications:

2 years commercial experience in the joist and deck and/or steel construction industry or relevant experience Preferred Qualifications:

Desire to advance within Nucor and willing to relocate for future opportunities. 2 or 4 year college degree Working knowledge of SAP Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering or related field
