Title:

AP Specialist Location : Reston, VA Compensation:

$26-30/hr

Keys to Hire: Comfortable preparing and processing invoices (100-300/week) Experience with Deltek Costpoint (1+ yr) Able to reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies

Job Responsibilities:

The AP Specialist is responsible for reviewing all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment Responsible for cutting checks weekly Respond to all vendor inquires Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies Assist with month end closing process Evaluate all accounts payables balance and resolve unpaid invoice issues Perform audit on various expense reports for suppliers Assist in various other projects

Requirements:

Must possess 2+ years of accounting or AP experience Proficient in Excel and Costpoint Strong attention to detail Well organized and a self-starter Bachelor degree (finance or accounting related degree a plus)
