Job Overview:

We are in the process of modernizing our integrated marketing capabilities. We are looking for an Integrated Marketing Director to join us on that journey. This key role reports directly to Leslie’s VP of Brand Marketing. If you are a highly motivated integrated marketing leader and appreciate the challenges and rewards of building and executing successful campaign-based omnichannel marketing programs, then you will thrive in this position

  • Ability to envision, develop and implement integrated marketing programs that drive long-term growth for Leslie’s. Strategize and execute campaigns that speak to brand, direct, digital, and content marketing channels while seeking ways to differentiate and innovate with fresh ideas.
  • The successful candidate will be able to flow seamlessly from strategy to planning and execution, driving vision while collaborating with internal and external cross-functional teams. (e.g. brand strategy, creative/graphics, eComm, PR/Social, merchandising, agencies and SEO partners)

Responsibilities:
  • Ability to develop integrated marketing campaigns and go-to-market strategies, from brief and ideation to content creation to execution, with a focus on digital-forward strategies and tactics to meet business objectives.
  • Envision, plan and implement unique and robust omni-channel, consumer insight-led marketing initiatives to improve customer engagement, differentiate the brand, and drive sales.
  • Track campaign performance working closely with analytics team to provide data-backed insights to optimize campaigns and find new areas of opportunity based on best practices and shared learnings.
  • Understand and recommend integrated marketing opportunities with the greatest ROI that achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive key partnerships to consistently, leverage alignment within all integrated marketing channels to improve business outcomes.
  • Oversee marketing content development and execution in collaboration with internal teams and external agency and digital media partners.
  • Lead a team of professionals of differing experience levels and establish an open, inclusive, positive and results-driven culture of excellence based on curiosity, learning and mutual respect.
  • Prepare presentations and clearly communicate findings, updates, plans, and results from initiatives, to senior leaders (VP, SVP, EVP), management and the broader organization
  • Leverage a complex marketing mix across the customers’ journey
  • Using customer and marketing insight create integrated marketing plans that support and mesh with new customer acquisition, retention and win-back, initiatives.
  • Evangelize integrated marketing programs within the organization
  • Demonstrate a willingness to take well-measured risks
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, BA/BS degree in marketing, MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience, developing integrated marketing plans
  • Proven track record of successfully leading omni-channel and integrated marketing programs and translating brand initiatives to the bottom line
  • Working knowledge of digital media and demand generation channels (digital marketing, digital media, SEO, display advertising, paid social, video advertising, media planning, web and marketing analytics)
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels to meet business goals
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and project/program management skills
  • The ability to creatively resolve issues, understanding business constraints of resources, budgets, and timelines, while remaining adaptable and flexible
  • Must be solution-oriented with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude and great work ethic
  • Hands on style of working, willing to roll up sleeves and work with teams versus delegating to others
  • Ability to thrive in a frugal, fast paced environment while prioritizing tasks and meeting timelines with minimal oversight
  • Must have experience managing direct reports
  • A test & learn mentality
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills
  • Loyalty program experience a plus
  • A sense of humor, a positive attitude and adaptability
