What's your day like?Consistency and professionalism are key qualities we are looking for in a Contract Laboratory Specimen Collector at a Nashville, TN location Monday - Thursday from 6:30 am - 4:30 pm, to collect for our corporate lab, Genview DX, located in Houston, TX. Your role will involve working closely with patients, particularly those facing health challenges, who may experience emotional fluctuations. It's crucial to arrive on time with a mindset focused on assisting others and maintaining a high level of customer service. Strong skills in time management, precise specimen collection, and thorough follow-up are essential for success in this position. Are you the Laboratory Specimen Collector we're looking for?To excel as a Contract Laboratory Specimen Collector at Genview DX in Houston, candidates should ideally possess prior experience as a medical assistant or phlebotomist, although it is not mandatory. Adaptability to evolving healthcare regulations and standards is crucial for this role, ensuring compliance and quality in specimen collection. Effective and clear communication with the laboratory team is essential to guarantee accurate and timely reports. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
