Job Title: Steel Detailer- Structural Steel

Salary: $90k (negotiable)

Location: Randoph NJ

We have a fantastic opportunity at a local long standing, reputable steelwork contractor. They are currently looking for a Project Designer with knowledge of the structural steel. This position would require 3 years' experience at a steelwork contractor.

They focus in material handling, fabricating and doing they're own installation and have been going over 50 years

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design structural steel Racks, shop and installation drawings.

Comprehend and articulate the integration of individual parts into manufactured components, as well as the process of assembling these components on-site.

Collaborate with the Project Engineer to create/organize system layouts and designs and check fabrication, materials, installation and design drawings.

Collaborate with Sales, Project Manager (PM), and Project Engineer (PE) to synchronize the system components as specified in the Order Transmittal

Experience:

5 years structural/mechanical detailing experience.

AutoCAD

Experience using Tekla
