Job Title: Steel Detailer– Structural Steel

Salary: $90k (negotiable)

Location: Randoph NJ

We have a fantastic opportunity at a local long standing, reputable steelwork contractor. They are currently looking for a Project Designer with knowledge of the structural steel. This position would require 3 years’ experience at a steelwork contractor.

They focus in material handling, fabricating and doing they're own installation and have been going over 50 years

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Design structural steel Racks, shop and installation drawings.

· Comprehend and articulate the integration of individual parts into manufactured components, as well as the process of assembling these components on-site.

· Collaborate with the Project Engineer to create/organize system layouts and designs and check fabrication, materials, installation and design drawings.

· Collaborate with Sales, Project Manager (PM), and Project Engineer (PE) to synchronize the system components as specified in the Order Transmittal

Experience:

· 5 years structural/mechanical detailing experience.

· AutoCAD

· Experience using Tekla
