Roof & Gutter Maintenance Technician

DescriptionWeidner Corporate OfficeHourly Pay Range: $23 - $25Weidner Apartment Homes is currently searching for a Roof & Gutter Technician to work at our properties around Puget Sound. This position will help to maintain and repair the roofs and gutters at our apartment buildings. If you have experience working in roofing, enjoy working with a team and are looking to work for company with strong stability look no further we have the job for you. This position will work Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. This position will be responsible for: Being a self-starter and able to supervise projects with coworker(s).Self-manage work being performed and provide a safe environment for those working with and around project site.Provide continuous oversight and communication to the Roofing Director of findings and needed repairs of each project.Provide input on scope and level of work needed to complete each project.Maintain company design and construction standards, and evolve as appropriate.Actively participate in a positive team environment through teamwork, communication and excellence in service.Assist in making appropriate recommendations to directions of roof and gutter cleaning and repair needs.Assist in communication between other departments in the Weidner Organization to ensure that the final product when completed meets the needs of Weidner, and the product produced is always improving.Prompt with regular attendance and maintain a professional appearance at all times while on duty.Qualifications At least two (2) years' experience as a Roofing Professional or doing gutter cleaning and repairs with, the majority of that experience on roof systemsExcellent time management skillsAbility to travel in Washington RegionAbility to work on multiple projects concurrentlyMust agree to a criminal background check and sign an agreement for voluntary drug testingValid and current driver's license, insurance and a vehicle
