The Shipping and Receiving Administrator is responsible for overseeing and achieving the proper shipment and receiving of incoming and outgoing products of ambient, -80 (Dry Ice) and refrigerated 4C items. This includes the timely staging and shipping of outgoing orders while adhering to safety procedures. The Shipping and Receiving Administrator performs work with a high level of accuracy, ensuring that the warehouse and customer requirements are met.

What you will do:

As the Shipping and Receiving Administrator at Pharmaron, you will be responsible for preparing all incoming and outgoing shipments.

This entails:

  • Oversees receiving and storing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation.
  • Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials.
  • Maintains the inventory using our current (Microsoft Excel) database.
  • Receive incoming shipments. Pull original order(s), match order to incoming shipment and move the products to inventory until ready to ship out.
  • Complete audit of all items, review Bill of Lading to ensure all items received are complete and not damaged or incorrect. Pictures to be taken of the received items/packages upload to company server.
  • Match all original requests, orders, received or shipped products, track late orders with follow-up and documentation, move material to inventory control area, return damaged or incorrect products, document all process on for record retention, communicate with management on any concerns.
  • Pack products in appropriate containers based on temperature requirement for international shipment.
  • Perform cycle count on inventory and resolve count variances on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain data and records related to shipping and receiving activities.
  • Coordinating with logistics team on all outgoing and incoming shipments
  • Reconciling all discrepancies on goods received and reporting discrepancies to management when needed.

Qualifications and Experiences:
  • Associate degree or certification in related or equivalent experience, preferred not required.
  • 5 + years of experience in similar role or environment
  • Ability to follow verbal and written procedures, good communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and listen to others.
  • Quality minded with demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Able to work cooperatively in a team.
