Were looking for an experienced business analyst who cant wait to work with people-related data. Youll help us build our people analytics capabilities from the ground up. As the go-to analyst on our team, youll be involved with defining recruiting and organizational metrics, providing regular reporting and translating data into business insights. Youre someone that takes pride in nailing the details and cant help but dig into the data when you have a question. What youll do: - Create dashboards that tie to company and team goals - Perform ad-hoc analyses, compare our metrics to industry data, and translate findings into insights across all areas of the people team - Design effective measurement systems, research what-if questions, and iterate on programs-based on findings - Work with the IT, business analytics, and data engineering teams to optimize data capture, security, and regular reporting design - Increase the people teams proficiency in data visualization and storytelling with data

Skills

What were looking for: - Over 4 years working in a fast-paced environment analyzing large, multi-dimensional data sets - Background in economics, statistics, industrial organizational psychology or a similar field - Clearly communicating insights and recommendations to senior leadership and large groups on tight deadlines - Must love building things and be passionate about making data and analytics accessible and easy to use for non-technical audiences - Fluency in SQL, Excel, R, and/or other statistical and data visualization software Bonus Points - Previous experience with a People Analytics team This is a temporary contract position at Pinterest. As such, the contractor who fills this role will be employed either by our staffing partner (PRO Unlimited) or by an agency supplier partner, and not an employee of Pinterest. All interviews will be scheduled and/or conducted by the Pinterest assignment manager. When a finalist has been selected, PRO Unlimited or the agency supplier partner will extend the offer and provide assignment details including duration, benefits options and onboarding.

Pinterest Business Marketing is looking for a data analyst to support a project by performing data cleansing / scrubbing of registration and attendance data of a recent event.

We are in need of help with data to assess revenue impact of the Presents 2023 event: In order for the team to be able to assess the revenue that Presents brings to the company, the measurement team needs an accurate list of attendees to understand if any of their companies bought media after Presents. The data analyst job is to turn the current registrant and attendee list(s) info complete records with accurate information that matches data in our SalesForce database (as applicable)

Goal of data mapping: Finding accurate company name, salesforce (SFDC) ID number, parent company name, type of company, and (ideally) job title for each record from a series of different documents with information from Salesforce

The scope of this data cleansing project includes fixing incorrect, incomplete, duplicate or otherwise erroneous data in a data set. It involves updating or removing data to correct records, as needed.
