Qualifications: ? Undergraduate in business, marketing, supply chain, communications Or? 2-3 years? professional experience within supply chain and/or operations? Experience with planning systems such as OMP, APO, SAP IBP? Learns new systems readily and quickly? Strong organizational skills? Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities ? Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas including manufacturing, SC, procurement, customer service and finance to achieve shared goals? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.? Strong understanding of end to end procured planning from shipment of raw materials at the supplier site to usage of materials in production Responsibilities: This role is responsible raw materials planning activities of solvents, additives and containers to support the production of Axalta?s Mobility products servicing the OEM industry. A key task will be following up on critical raw materials deliveries and arriving at solutions for their on-time arrival.This role will also be responsible for balancing on-hand inventory in order to meet production needs while optimizing warehouse inventory levels. The role requires strong collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager, Scheduling, Procurement, Vendors, Technical, Manufacturing and Customer Service to meet critical business goalsMaterial Orderingo Daily ordering of solvent and additives via OMP and SAPo Daily container ordering, including subcontract ordering for totes.o Daily bulk order placement through tank level datao Checking the backorder report for past-due PO?s.o Follow-up with suppliers on past-due orders and provide ETA on raw material arrival to functional partners? Participation, meeting attendanceo Attend and contribute to internal Axalta meetings with key cross functional partnerso Contribute to external supplier meetings? New Products/Material Master Settingso Review, maintain and update material master settings for purchased/tolled materials in ERP System, Planning Tool System OMP.o Review, create and approve new product set ups for purchased/tolled materials or discontinuation of non-gallon materials Comments/Special Instructions
