**Warehouse Coordinator**

**Description**

We are looking for a talented Warehouse Coordinator to join our Upfit Team in team in Arlington, Texas.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Acts as a formal resource coordinating others. Coordinates operations through interaction with operations management. Coordinates activities for different areas like Inbound, Outbound, Kitting, etc. based on direction from Operations management.

* Lead HSE Training and actively engage workforce

Quality

* Follows all applicable standard work, work instruction/process documentation and established quality procedures.

* Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.

* Performs quality checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.

* Identifies and controls non-conforming material.

Delivery

* Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.

* Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product per the customer expectations.

* Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills.

* Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.

Teamwork

* Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.

* Ensures training completion in line with business requirements.

* Seeks ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

* Ensures clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and supports planned operator care and maintenance tasks.

* Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.

* Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment in need of repair.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Mode Selection - Evaluates and selects appropriate transportation mode and equipment type by lane through shipment volume analysis against business requirements to provide optimal shipping method (balance cost, quality and time).

**Education, Licenses, Certifications**

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

College, University or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

**Experience**

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third party logistics provider management.

* Teach, coach, and mentor Warehouse Associates/Material Handlers to achieve maximum work efficiency. Aligns with supervisor and actively works with any team members who are struggling to identify how to help them improve.

* Actively works in their areas as a part of the workforce to get the work done

* Supports Safety practices and reports incidents immediately to Supervisor/Manager/Safety Champion; Leading by example

* Leads by example to demonstrate behaviors aligned with procedures and policies; Shares observed discrepancies with Supervisor to drive accountability.

* Monitor production numbers to identify potential barriers and improvement opportunities

* Identify bottlenecks or challenges in the area and works with team members and supervisor to drive improvement

* Utilize Cummins sponsored training opportunities to develop skill sets that are required for Coordinator role

* Lead or actively participate in LEAN initiatives

* Adherence to all Cummins Inc. and Site processes and initiatives (5s Audits, PIV inspections)

* Attendance consistent with team and plant guidelines.

* Perform any other tasks assigned as assigned.

This position requires a DMV driving report.
