Responsibilities:
- Maintain accrual and cash financial systems and support tax cash planning for both the operating company and real estate holding company.
- Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business financials, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Work with AVP of Finance to prepare quarterly Owners' reports and presentations.
- Prepare and coordinate all tax documents for yearly filing for both the operating company and real estate holding company.
- Maintain internal costing and coding systems, preparing financial documents to close months, quarters, and years.
- Accurate and timely input of all company payables into Unanet and ready payables in Bill.com.
- Reconcile Operating Accounts and company credit card for both BES and 859 North Main St.
- A/P: Review Bill.com invoices and vendors, ready for AVP review and approval.
- Payroll: Ready all employee weekly reimbursables and weekly time for Paylocity input and final review by AVP Finance and AVP HR to process weekly payroll.
- 401K: Ready weekly 401K funding for final review by AVP Finance.
- Work with AVP of Finance to maintain all monthly finance reporting and ensure deliverables are met based on the established Finance calendar.
- Assist Project Accountant with monthly invoicing and accounts receivable.
- Establish and maintain relationships with individuals or business customers and vendors.
- Builds trust at all levels to create an environment where employees can reach their full potential; supports company culture and models core values in everyday interactions by acting honestly and fairly with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Other duties as required.
Education and Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; college degree preferred
- 5+ years of professional finance experience
- Strong computer skills in Office Suite, Google Suite, and financial or project management software (i.e. Unanet, Deltek)
- Must be a self-starter who can work autonomously
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Willingness to learn
